A big congratulations to Tom Mitchell (Fuqua MBA ’07 and CASE Scholar), Managing Director of Cambridge Associates, for being honored this year with the Fuqua Leader of Consequence Award! The award recognizes Fuqua alumni whose exemplary professional accomplishments are match by the significant positive social or environmental change they have created.
Since 2007, Tom has been Managing Director of Cambridge Associates, is a founding member of their Mission-Related Investing (MRI) Practice, and he specializes in developing and implementing investment strategies that integrate environmental and social objectives while seeking holistic returns.
Tom is at the forefront of the growing impact investing field and an invaluable asset to our CASE i3 Advisory Council. In this month’s CASE Chat, Tom shares how he’s seen the field change over the past decade and what social entrepreneurs need to know about impact investors before raising capital.
