How to Apply
Applications for Fuqua Fast Pitch 2022 are no longer accepted as the deadline has passed. Thank you to all who applied, we had a strong pool this year!
To apply you will need a maximum 3-page business overview summary that addresses the following areas:
• “The Pitch”
• Problem you are solving
• Your solution
• Customer segment you are targeting
• Market size
• Competition
• Sustainable competitive advantage
• Go to market strategy
• Unit economics
• Traction to date
• Team/founder bios—why you?
To complete your application form, please also have ready: contact information, headshots and bios (< 250 words) for all the founder, your venture logo file (if applicable), venture URL (if applicable), and completed media release.
Eligibility Requirements
Any Fuqua student currently enrolled in any program at Fuqua including the Daytime MBA, GEMBA, WEMBA, MMS, MQM, etc.
Teams must consist of at least one Fuqua student who is a substantial equity holder and is identified as a co-founder.
A Fuqua student must act as the Team Lead, which includes completing the application, serving as the main point of contact and presenting during competition. Only Fuqua students are allowed to present at the finals. Other team members may attend all activities and assist with Q&A during semifinals and finals.
Participation in Pitch Prep Program
Teams chosen as semifinalists must commit to participating in a Pitch prep session and meet 1:1 with a pitch coach.
Are these prizes or investments? The prize pool is non-dilutive awards that will be made to the founder not the legal entity.
Are the prizes taxable? Yes, the prize money is considered taxable income.
Who are the judges? The judging panel will be comprised of experienced entrepreneurs and venture investors.
