Sector Director for Energy Careers
As the Sector Director for Energy careers at Fuqua School of Business, Carol coaches students and develops relationships with employers from across the energy value chain—from the energy supermajors and their suppliers to electric utilities, cleantech firms, and energy consulting and finance firms. Carol guides Fuqua MBA students on energy career options and strategies drawing on her experience working on energy in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors.
Carol previously advised governments and other organizations on how to pay for clean energy at the Environmental Finance Center at the University of North Carolina. She also advocated for state-level green banks at the Coalition for Green Capital and managed energy use for the City of Philadelphia. In addition, she has worked on energy and sustainability strategy at the University of Pennsylvania, Exelon, and Environmental Defense Fund. Carol holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Princeton University. She is a LEED Accredited Professional and a Senior Fellow in the Environmental Leadership Program.
