Rebecca Kujawa is a senior executive and board leader with more than two decades of experience at the intersection of energy, technology, and capital markets. Most recently the President & CEO of NextEra Energy Resources—the largest competitive power generator in the United States and the world’s leader in renewables—she led 7,400 employees and oversaw $15–$20 billion in annual investment amid unprecedented demand growth and rapid technological and policy change.
At NextEra, Rebecca expanded the company’s development portfolio across renewables, storage, natural gas, advanced nuclear, nuclear restart, and large-scale transmission, while driving the digital transformation of project development through AI and advanced analytics to support a 300 GW pipeline. As Executive Vice President and CFO of NextEra Energy, Inc., she directed financial strategy, capital deployment, investor engagement, and enterprise IT and cybersecurity for a Fortune 200 company with nearly $50 billion in investment under her leadership.
Rebecca serves on the Board of Directors of Equinix (EQIX) and previously chaired Nuclear Electric Insurers Limited (NEIL). She is a frequent speaker on energy transition, digital innovation, and infrastructure, and her insights have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, Reuters, and S&P Global.
A graduate of Duke University, Rebecca earned her bachelor’s degree in Public Policy Studies, graduating with honors, and is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
