Rory Huntly has 15 years of experience in the dynamic world of energy development, finance, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Most recently, he served as SVP of Finance and M&A at Tyr Energy Development Renewables, LLC (TED Renewables), a wholly owned affiliate of Tyr Energy responsible for the development of clean energy resources, where Rory led strategy and M&A activity across a 5GW portfolio of solar, storage, and natural gas projects. Prior to TED, Rory held senior roles at Duke Energy, Ecoplexus, Acciona Energy, and Jacobs Capital focused on executing project/corporate M&A and financing transactions.
Rory has spoken at numerous industry conferences and has previously co-taught classes at Duke University on Solar Project Development. He currently serves on the board of Storlytics, a battery storage software company. Rory received his Bachelor of Arts from Davidson College and his MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Kenan-Flagler Business School.
