As CEO at Franklin Energy, Terry Sobolewski holds financial responsibility and oversees divisional operations across client programs. He has 20 years of experience in the energy sector, most recently serving as President of National Grid’s Rhode Island business. Before that, he was National Grid’s Chief Customer Officer, leading efforts to improve customer experience and responsible for energy supply, energy solutions, customer engagement, and community support through corporate citizenship & economic development.¬†While at National Grid, Terry also held roles in sales and program operations, business planning, and enterprise-wide process and performance improvement. Prior to Joining National Grid, Terry led East Coast Business Development for SunPower Corporation, a leader in the design, manufacturing and delivery of new solar technologies. Terry also worked for GE Capital in various leadership roles including Mid-Atlantic Region Manager for GE Capital Solutions, General Manager for GE Technology Finance and Senior Managing Director, Channel Sales for GE Vendor Finance. He also served four years in the U.S. Navy. Terry received both his B.S.E. in Mechanical Engineering and his MBA from Duke University.
