Why did you choose Fuqua?

I chose Fuqua for two main reasons. First, I was excited by the opportunity to complete the Health Sector Management Program, as I knew I wanted to go back to the health care industry post-graduation. Second, I really valued the collaborative atmosphere at “Team Fuqua,” and felt this would be the perfect place to develop deep, meaningful connections with my classmates.

Before Fuqua

Before Fuqua, I worked as a physical therapist at Fyzical Therapy & Balance Centers in North Ft. Myers, FL. In this role, my duties included performing initial evaluations and developing individually tailored treatment plans for patients with vestibular, neurological, and orthopedic ailments.

What has been your favorite health care course or experience at Fuqua?

My favorite health care course so far has been New Biotech and Pharma Strategy.

After Fuqua

Post-MBA, I plan to work as a strategy consultant focusing in the health care industry.

Why did you decide to pursue the HSM Certificate?

I decided to pursue the HSM certificate for two main reasons. First, I wanted to gain more knowledge and exposure to different subsectors of health care, such as the pharmaceutical industry and the medical devices space. Second, I wanted to be part of a cohort of students who are passionate about working at the intersection of business and healthcare.
