Careers in Health Care

Duke MBA students interested in health care are innovative, curious, and passionate about making a difference. Some of these students have already had work experience in health care, but just as many are career changers, and new to the industry. Fuqua alumni work throughout the health sector, including in the life sciences, hospitals and health systems, insurance companies, and health tech. The companies they work for include large, well-established multi-national corporations, as well as very small, very new start-ups. In short – there is no one profile that clearly defines the Duke MBA health care student, but they do share a desire to have a significant impact on the delivery of products, technology, and services to patients. Their differences, as well as their similarities, are what makes them attractive to a broad range of employers across the industry.
