As CASE continues to scale the impact of our work, we are excited to announce a new addition to our incredible team. Starting in early December, Robyn Fehrman will join the CASE team as our new Director of Programs.
As Director of Programs, Robyn will be a leader of our Social Entrepreneurship Accelerator at Duke (SEAD) program, a USAID-funded, cross-campus initiative that identifies and supports global health innovators to scale their impact as well as engaging Duke students and faculty in related research and educational opportunities. More broadly, Robyn will help provide a fresh perspective to CASE’s programming and activities, identifying new opportunities and partnerships for our continued growth as well as continuing to foster our current programming both on and off Duke’s campus.
Before joining CASE, Robyn served as the executive director for Teach For America – Eastern North Carolina for five years. Under her leadership, TFA-ENC has scaled their programming to train and support over 700 first-year teachers that have worked with over 75,000 children in communities across eastern North Carolina. This infusion of talent throughout the region has had a lasting impact with both the children of eastern North Carolina and the schools TFA partners with. Prior to joining TFA, Robyn served as a Program Officer with the Triangle Community Foundation and worked with Ipas, a global reproductive health and rights training and advocacy organization.
CASE Executive Director Erin Worsham said, “We are truly honored that Robyn will be joining CASE. Her experience as a social impact practitioner – leading and working with organizations that are having deep impact both here in North Carolina and around the globe – make her an incredible addition to our team. Moreover, her belief in equity and opportunity for all matches with our goals at CASE and the mission that we work so diligently to pursue. I am excited for all that we can accomplish together.”
Please join us in welcoming Robyn to our team!
