Associate Director; Program Lead, ClimateCAP Initiative
Jessica Wingert leads EDGE’s innovative ClimateCAP Initiative, a partnership of 30+ business schools focused on educating MBA students about the business risks and opportunities of climate change. Jessica’s leadership includes designing and implementing a new ClimateCAP Fellows program (launching in 2023), that will provide a deeper academic, personal, and professional development opportunity for MBAs who aspire to be tomorrow’s climate leaders. She also provides strategic direction for initiative as a whole, including broadening the reach of ClimateCAP programming, expanding opportunities for partners to engage, and supporting academic development at the intersection of climate and business.
Jessica brings a wealth of both industry and academic expertise to bear in this role. She started her career in supply chain and procurement consulting, and has launched and led sustainability programs at both Land O’Lakes and Labcorp, in addition to working previously at the Fuqua Career Management Center as the Sector Director for Social Impact and Sustainability Careers. In each of her previous roles, she has brought a keen understanding of strategy, a creative entrepreneurial spirit, a deep understanding of climate and sustainability issues, and a passion for inspiring students and stakeholders.
She holds an MBA from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business and an undergraduate degree in Marketing from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.
