About Steve Wolin

Steve Wolin is head of Corporate Strategy and Business Acceleration for Optum. Steve leads the development of corporate and business unit level strategy aimed at driving growth and efficiency. In addition, Steve leads the assessment, structuring, negotiating, and relationship management of several large-scale Optum partnerships.


Steve joined Optum in 2015. Prior to joining Optum, Steve had a 7-year career as a management consultant with Oliver Wyman leading large project teams to develop strategies for major clients, including several projects in the health enablement space. Steve also spent 9 years managing a multi-billion dollar investment portfolio for Bain Capital in the Technology space.


Steve graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Bucknell University in 1991 and with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business in 1996.
