Before joining Team Fuqua, Marit played a pivotal role at a private foundation in Washington, DC, where she provided key administrative and project management support to the leadership team. Prior to her foundation work, Marit worked at a national public affairs firm where she assisted various non-profit and corporate clients in their coalition building and advocacy efforts. Marit earned her Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from Colgate University. At Fuqua, Marit is eager to harness her education to “build and strengthen partnerships between the public and private sectors that challenge the status quo and create a brighter future for all Americans.” Her vision is not just to participate in change, but to be a catalyst for it, inspiring others to join her in creating a more equitable and just society
