Austin Risner grew up in the great state of Ohio before moving to Virginia for college. He holds a B.S. in Business Economics, with a minor in American Government and Politics from Regent University.
During college, Austin developed a strong passion for using business to make a difference by working with a professor, a team of students, and a digital publishing company to develop curriculum utilized by over 500 entrepreneurs globally. Prior to joining Fuqua, Austin spent four years working in corporate finance at A.D.P. in Norfolk, VA.
This summer, Austin worked with J.P. Morgan’s Private bank where he further honed is investment acumen. He is passionate about utilizing his skillset to help others make investments that not only achieve exceptional returns but also make the world a better place.
Last year, Austin had the privilege of serving as an associate in the CASEi3 investment fund. This year, he looks forward to continuing to build on this experience by serving as the co-manager of this fund and helping teach the next cohort about investing for impact.
