I grew up in Georgia and studied Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech for my undergrad. Growing up in an immigrant household, I’ve always been interested in global health and how to allocate resources and care to people all over the world. After working for a med device company for 3 years as a Quality Engineer, I decided to pursue my MBA to pivot into consulting. I’m interested in social impact and healthcare consulting as I would love to do work in health equity. I’ve wanted to do more work in bridging the gap that exists between racial and ethnic groups so people from marginalized groups are able to also have access to proper care. This summer, I worked at Chartis, a healthcare consulting firm, and got the opportunity to do a project that focused on improving overall patient experience for a children’s hospital. I’m excited to learn more about the social impact space and to see how different industries are able to positively influence changes.
