Hans Grohs

Originally from Chile, Hans is a dual-degree MPP/MBA Candidate at the Fuqua School of Business & Sanford School of Public Policy. Prior to graduate school, Hans worked as an Associate Consultant at Public Impact, an education policy and consulting firm focused on improving education dramatically for all students in the United States. While at Public Impact, he collaborated with major school districts to rethink their school design and improve student learning outcomes. His interest in social impact began when he joined Teach for America as a 1st Grade Bilingual Teacher in a Title I elementary school in Houston, Texas. As a CASE Fellow, he’s interested in exploring the intersection of education, policy, and business to support socially minded organizations. At Fuqua, Hans serves as a cabinet member of ALMA and a volunteer board member at a local education nonprofit, Communities in Schools – Durham, through Fuqua on Board.
