Rebekka Nickman holds a Bachelor’s of Music from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. While in undergrad, she interned with the National Symphony Orchestra at the Kennedy Center and discovered that she was more interested in the business side of the arts than the performing side. Upon graduation, she worked for an arts education non-profit in Washington, DC where she contributed to a large collective impact data science project funded by the National Endowment for the Arts. This inspired an interest in using data to inform policy. From there she joined Mathematica, a policy research firm where she worked on large-scale government funded contracts primarily within the education and disability spaces. She comes to Fuqua with a strong commitment to improving public wellbeing through cross-sector partnerships.
